Will ask poster mdavej for his comments on this situation. Lastly I used the Inteset remote to “teach” the MX-980 the cursor codes and to my delight it now worked as expected. To my dismay, it worked as before, as in two movements per click.

So I used the Inteset and IrScrutinizer to scrutinize the cursor pad codes and generate Pronto hex code that was loaded into the MX-980. Next I procured a Inteset INT-422-3 and tested the cursor pad with the Roku and the mentioned apps and it worked as expected. Tried Pronto hex codes for the cursor pad from the JP1 site, Remote Central and Global Caché, all worked like the ones from URC. With them when I used the cursor keys everything moved by two, click right and the highlight would move two titles. Everything worked as expected except when the Netflix or Amazon app was loaded.

URC has the Roku in their database so I used it to program my MX-980.

You are now able to control your PS3 and PS4 with your Smart Remote.Click to expand.I assume you mean IP control of the Roku? It is my understanding the Roku USB port does not accept keyboard cmds like the Shield does so it would not work with the Flirc plugged into it. until all keys are programmed to control your game console On Smart Remote press the button that corresponds to it.On Flirc interface please select the button you would like to add.Once installed please select "PS3" or "PS4" among the available controlers. Please follow the link here to download Flirc's graphic interface on your laptop.Your PS3 or PS4 interface will be added to your Smart Remote.

To start please follow the same steps as above to add your PS3 or PS4.If you follow the same steps as for adding Amazon Fire TV and Nvidia Shield via Flirc to your Smart Remote to add your PS3 and PS4, it won't work at first, but no worries we have a workaround for you. Your Flirc interface should now be added on your Smart Remote Add your PS3 and PS4 via Flirc on your Smart Remote Select your device location: "North-America"Įnter the name of the device you would like to add Select the category "Set Top Boxes & Media Streamers" Launch the Smart Remote app and make sure you are on the Devices & Services tab. Make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as Smart Remote.

Once plugged into your device, Flirc will be recognized by your device as a keyboard where keys will be replaced by infrared commands. To be able to use Flirc, you just need to plug Flirc USB into any USB port of the device you would like to control. While our team is working hard on developing these integrations, we wanted to share a few workarounds that could help to control the following devices for now (please still feel free to vote for these devices on our voting platform and follow them to get notified once they are available):įlirc USB was created in order to make some of your devices TV/Media devices initially compatible via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, infrared compatible. Smart Remote is not compatible yet with all your TV/Media devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
